Lost Ark: Key Master Guide with Embodiment of Power

The Soul Master is a melee class belonging to the Monk archetype. Unlike other classes of the same archetype, he has access to several ranged abilities. To play effectively, a soul master needs to use skills in combinations depending on the indicator on the identification scale (strength levels). The build-in question uses the Embodiment of Force engraving, which changes the principle of using stages of Strength and allows you to deal more explosive damage.

2. The style of play of a Soul Master with the Embodiment of Power in Lost Ark

The Embodiment of the Force engraving changes the way you play. Typically, a soul master gradually builds stages of Strength, using the third stage to deal maximum damage. In the presence of the Manifestation of the Force, when activating the identification skill, the soul master moves to the third stage, completely ignoring the first two.

The build is designed for the most frequent use of the most powerful skills at the third level of Strength. This is achieved due to the high rate of skill from the equipment.

What distinguishes a soul master with Embodiment of the Force from other builds emphasizes the awakening ability. Ultimate Strength deals massive damage (more than any other ability in the game), and we're trying to buff it in every possible way.

If you are mastering a new boss, take the time to learn how he moves. Some bosses often stand still and are easy to get to from the back. Others run back and forth and have to be followed.

Ultimate Strength is a slow ability, so for a soul master, being able to predict the behavior of a boss is considered very important. Ultimate Strength deals devastating damage, and if it misses, the character's performance in combat suffers greatly. Try not to miss it!

Unlike other MMOs, Lost Ark's healing is very limited, so try to dodge damage at all costs. In high-level content, characters can use healing potions, but they cannot completely replace healers in the usual sense.

The build-in question does not require side effects, but you can use allies with burst damage effects and short-term but strong effects like Serrated Blade from the Berserker.

3. Soul Master Skills and Builds with Embodiment of Power in Lost Ark

Each character has access to different class abilities. Each skill has tripod effects that change its mechanics. The Key Master can choose eight normal skills and one awakening skill.

The identification skill of a soul master is a three-step scale. As mentioned above, in the presence of the Embodiment of the Force, the character immediately goes to the third level of Strength.

After resetting the scale, the identification skill is unavailable for some time. Below we will look at the available options for abilities for different situations.

Universal build

A versatile build designed to deal AoE damage to large groups of enemies. It also provides the character with high mobility. The build remains the same regardless of the chosen engraving.

If at some point, you don't have enough 1-3 points for an important tripod, you can take them from the Twinkle Step (it works well without the Wide Step ).

The build is very simple - both in concept and implementation. The Mantra of Retribution deals AoE damage in a large radius. Thunderclap and Maim Wave are used when Mantra of Retribution is not available. Both abilities have a shorter range but are on par with Mantra in damage.

Death Thread and Sweeping Wave are used to damage enemies in a line. They can also deal damage to bosses and elite monsters.

All other abilities are chosen depending on personal preferences. Soul Rush is used as a personal buff before powerful abilities with Mantra of Wrath. Soul Dash deals good damage, but its area of effect is very limited.

The flickering Step promotes rapid movement. It can be used three times in a row. Death's Breath deals relatively great damage and has a Mantra of Wrath tripod.

You may also need spare jewelry. Manifestation of the Force boosts damage at the third level of Strength but has little to no effect on the permanent damage required at the zero level.

You can replace Manifestation of Power with another soul master class engraving, Meditation. Both versions of the build use the same abilities (see below).

Common engravings include Golem, Adrenaline, Celerity, and Ambush (the latter is often underestimated, but it does give good damage on packs). You can also use general engravings, even though they work worse than Meditation in boss fights. Evaluate the jewelry you have and assemble the right set.

Raid build

In fights with bosses (for example, guardians), abilities with maximum damage are used without control. The Embodiment of the Force suits these purposes in the best possible way.

In theory, the build has the most simple mechanics. At the zero level of Strength, use normal skills and wait for the rollback of the identification skill. In the third stage, use a combo to deal burst damage (or Ultimate Strength, if available). Repeat to infinity. In practice, this isn't easy to do.

The Mantra of Salvation and Soul Dash provides major damage buffs. Both abilities have a Mantra of Wrath tripod, but the effect does not stack. Try to distribute power-ups to be enough for all the most powerful abilities. An example sequence of actions looks like this:

And that's it! However, don't forget that Ultimate Power takes a very long time to cast, and the target may move out of the area before the ability is triggered. Don't worry and try to hit the target next time if this happens.

4. Characteristics of a Soul Master with Embodiment of Power in Lost Ark

The most important stat for an Avatar of Power build is Mastery. Awakening ability does most of the damage, and Mastery directly enhances this ability. With a high mastery score, the third stage of Strength becomes more powerful, and the zero stage of Strength has less effect.

All Lost Ark items of equipment you have must be with Mastery. The second characteristic of the amulet should be a critical hit.

5. Engravings, Skill Runes, and Consumables for a Soul Master with Manifestation of Power in Lost Ark

Engravings

The build-in question uses the following engravings. The Embodiment of the Force of the first level allows you to "jump" immediately to the third level of Strength. You will also need a New Dawn of the third level.

This engraving reduces the cooldown of the awakening ability by 10, 25, or 50% and increases the number of charges available in combat by 1, 2, or 3. The more Ultimate Power, the better! Having pumped the New Dawn to the third level, start pumping the Embodiment of Power (also to the third level).

As for the last engraving, you can use one of the following options. Titan Slayer is a very popular choice for all classes, except for support (the chances are that you have it already unlocked).

You can also use Golem, Adrenaline, Silent Assassin, or Celerity. If you haven't managed to level up the Titanslayer to the third level yet, pay attention to other options (at the first and second levels, the negative effect is too noticeable).

Engravings with protective effects (such as Heavy Armor and Tirelessness ) are not recommended for use, as they greatly reduce the potential for damage.

Pet characteristics

Pets buff the owner. We recommend choosing the option with a critical hit and a bonus to health.

Consumables

For a Soul Master with Meditation, there are no uniquely useful consumables. Below we provide situational options that may be useful to you in certain conditions. A strong potion of the Clay Witch and the Monastery's Amulet is used to survive critical situations.

Samoa Bomb (Exhaustion), Frag Bomb (Destruction), and Frag Grenade (General Damage) can be used to meet damage requirements in specific battles. Ardoin-X consumes health and amplifies outgoing damage. The choice of consumables depends on the composition and needs of the group or raid.

6. Decks of cards for a Soul master with the Embodiment of Power in Lost Ark

Cards are mined at high levels and put into decks. Pumping them requires a large investment of time and resources. The build-in question does not require specific decks, so that you can use any deck for damage. Boer Morhen (12) for a critical hit or History of the Ark (12+) light damage is suitable for a high-level game. If you don't have these decks, use any option with a health bonus (such as World Bosses or Armory).
